Off to Parker again

Mom forgot she needed prescription filled so it is off to Parker again today. I am so homesick right now, I was awake last night wishing I was home. I just hate not being there for my friends. It breaks my heart but I am so proud of my daughter. I am also proud of the Perkins family even in this time of great sorrow they took the time to send me a thank you note for raising a wonderful daughter that has been a godsend to them at this time. She is the reason I can stay here. She has really stepped up and helped. What a doll she is?  She is always thinking of others.

I think we might run up the river to Parker this time as I am getting tired of going the same way...lol  This should be the last trip for at least a month.

I am going to be lucky to get mom out of Quartzsite. Our time in camp is up the 23rd and she wants to get more time here. She keeps saying I do want to go to Salome when Stillings get here for awhile though. I also would like to see some more of Arizona but she is quite content right where we are. I don't really care as long as this trip is what she wants and as long as she is enjoying it I can stay put.

I will be glad when the Jeep is done tomorrow then I can quit worrying and trying to find things. Jeep done, bike rack will work even if not real good. I know it will fit and I know I can get them off but not sure I can load that trike by myself.  Ed said no problem as he would come load it but I don't want to leave it on there until we get back to Madras..lol  I don't think we can convince him to follow us around. He has a mine here near Quartzsite he comes for vacation every year. This is his first year saying the whole season.

Met some people from Redmond, Oregon yesterday. They had an Oregon flag up and I have been trying to find someone around camp. Yesterday they were there and I told them I was from Oregon and asked where they were from and one guys said Madras/Redmond area...I laughed and said "Madras for me". They want us to come up and visit. The rest of the camp is from the Stayton area. You see Oregon plates all over the place but I don't see the owners to see where they are from.

Have a great day, be safe

I would spend the whole day stalking, there are Oregon cars everywhere. I did talk to one guy from Redmond, one from Dundee and one from Stayon. Made friends with British Columbia, Washington and South Dakota
