Today is a day everyone starts out for their loved ones houses for Christmas. As you leave for your loved ones home think of the police officers who leave their loved ones on the holidays to try and make the roads safe for you. As you spend Christmas with your loved ones think of all that can't, the police( trying to make it safe for you, the fire (so many fires from candles and lights, the EMT( so many problems from over eating and drinking), the doctors (taking care of the sick), the nurses( taking care of our loved ones in hospitals), the highway snow plow workers( keeping our roads as safe as they can) the electric repairman (keeping us with electric during our winter storms), the waitress, cook and cafe workers(someone has to make us food on the road and coffee to keep us awake) The gas service station person (someone has to get us gas to get where we are going) and the list goes on. Sometimes we don't think about all the people who are working where our holiday can be safer and brighter. When we are sitting around the fire drinking eggnog a policeman, fireman and EMT are standing in the cold at a wreck in the snow taking care of injured people.
Appreciate everyone you have in your life because you never know how long you will have time. Appreciate everyone around you for their contribution to your happy holiday and most of all thank God for Jesus.
Happy Birthday dear Jesus, say "hi to my dad, my niece, my uncle, my friends that I have lost, they are spending Christmas with you so give them hugs from me"
This DVD and song by Hannah Weeks has 3 pictures of my dad and a couple of my niece. Please take a few minutes to listen and watch and wish all our loved ones who are spending Christmas with Jesus a Merry Christmas and let them know we still love them"
