Went up to Lifestyles RV on Dome Rock Road in Quartzsite to get my Jeep back. The cost was a lot better then the estimate was. James (Service manager) said it was easier and took less time then they thought it would plus they put a wiring harness on where I can use the Jeep lights to tow and it was still cheaper. Yipee, Yahoo, Whoopee for honest repair men. If you are near Quartzsite and need something done to your RV be sure and stop in. They are right off I-10 just west of Loves Travel Center.
It rained today off and on and the wind has been gusting so a lot of time inside. Made a great big pot of taco soup and read most of the day.
Thank goodness for new friends like Ed or I would have been riding my bike back the 3 miles from the RV store and then back up to get the Jeep in the rain. He gave me a ride up this morning at 8 and took me back up to get it now. He is a nice neighbor. He is the one that helped fix the bike rack too. Paco loves his wiener dog "Jake". Jake is really old, like 18 and doesn't get around real well. Ed takes that dog every where with him.
I am just so excited to have the Jeep all ready to go, tow bar, lights, bike rack. Now I can relax again.
We are suppose to have thunderstorms tonight and tomorrow and yes RaeEllen I will stay out of the washes until the rain is all gone in the mountains too. I am hoping for enough rain to rinse off all the dust off my Jeep. I hate to go to the car wash because it will right back as soon as I drive back to camp. Love my Jeep.
