The first day I really wished I was home. I am trying to get things done and not finding what I need to do it. Trying to adjust the bike rack to mom's trike and trying to find what I need is enough to make my hair gray when I know I could have it done in one phone call at home because I know who to call. Instead I spend half my time on the internet trying to find what I need and then they say go to Blythe, Ca, go to Parker, Go to Yuma..GRRR
Then in the middle of all of it the stupid internet went down for about 3 hrs then it was to late to get anything done. I finally found a welding shop right here in Quartzside who will weld the piece on for me so being stubborn does pay off and I don't have to drive 80 miles to Yuma.
It is kind of like being really good at your job and then going to a new job where you know nothing and you go from being proficient to not knowing how to do what you need to do. At home if I don't know how to do something I know lots of people to call that will tell me what I need to do. Here I don't know anyone, don't know what is offered and no one to call...DRAT!
I managed to do most of it finally and tomorrow I hope to finish the rack but if I was home it would have been 1/2 hr job..GRRRRR
There is good in everything, I did not spend money running around in the Jeep today as I did not have time so I saved money...yeah! See all is good.
