Music jam

We had a good day yesterday. Mom worked on paintings all day long and I worked in the yard. The yard here has not had much done to it but with these yards. I trimmed the trees of all the dead branches and I grabbed one and it broke off and hit me in the lip so I have a nice fat lip to take with me to the music jam last night. Looks just like someone popped me in the mouth.

You can cut off old dead cactus that looks like it has not been alive for years and it will have green inside of it. I burned stuff but even the dead stuff is hard to burn. The few weeds I had burned good.  The yard already is looking better. Good exercise for when mom is working on her art and I want to do something. I have been gathering rocks for decoration too. I will have to get some pictures of the yards around here I like. We might not be able to enjoy my work for long but whoever comes next year will and who knows it might be use, the landlord said I get first choice.

The music jam this week was even better then last week. They had a guy there that everyone knew so I am sure he comes a lot but he can really play that guitar. Mom enjoyed the accordion a lot. They had some kind of little harp there too and she was really good.  I heard some songs I had never heard and I sure enjoyed them. One was when God comes to collect his treasures.. A guy sang it dedicated it to his wife, he said he was not sure he could get through it but he was going to try and it was the best song he sang so far. I think it was because of the emotion he put into it. He was always one of my favorite singers but wow, that song would bring tears to your eyes.  I was amazed at how many people remembered me from before and said "hi" when they went by. The people here are so friendly and you feel like you  have a lot of friends here. Had a big audience this week too they counted 85 people, the week before we had about 20. I can't wait for the band scramble on the 28th and then I got some papers on a country gospel show they are going to do. I sure hope RaeEllen is back for that, her and Tom would love it.

tonight is my Zumba class and I sure hope I make it through it with my cold but I am going to try and do as much as I can.

Not sure what is on the agenda today except for the zumba class, got to clean the Jeep and then who knows.
