Feeling better

I actually took the dogs for a bike ride last night, did not go far but it was nice to get out of RV.

Went to the dump but did not get to the veggie stand. He was not open earlier.

I saw a plane land and it looked like he was landing on the road. When I got closer they have a sign that says "Do not stop for the next 1000 feet, low planes" I tried to get a picture but no other planes came. I waited and waited and then gave up and came home. Last evening about 10 landed, guess I will  have to go up at evening time and see if I can get some pictures. If they land the one directions they don't go over the road.

Went to a meeting of the home owners last night because my friend that lives down here that used to be with the fire department was the president and this was his last night. I went with my friends from Madras. It was fun and I got to meet some nice people there. One of them is from Hood River, some from Washington, some from Idaho and some from Montana.

I also found out they have a dog groomer in Brenda so I am going to get a hold of her and see if she will wash the dogs. Thinking seriously of having mom's clipped short all over, the shed so bad.

This is retirement heaven, mom did not even go and she got invited to several things. Pinochle, an exercise class especially for the  elderly with arthritis. One of the ladies from Zumba was there and she said to bring my mom and I told her she had arthritis and so they told me about this class called Tai Chi. She was invited to Bingo, bunco and pokeno. Now I just have to get her to try them...lol

They had a drawing for the cutest little bird  house last night. I was wishing I could win it. I was not going to try the crafts class but if that is what they make I just might go after all.

music jam
pinochle
lunch
another music jam
hand and foot
golf (so funny to see them golfing on a sand box, they should get used to sand pits. They were saying it costs $30.00 a year to join and at Bandon by the sea in Oregon it is $300.00 a year)

They have a bus that takes people on trips too. the next trip Brizbee, Az. I don't know exactly how it works but I know it is $55.00 a night for the motel as this is a 2 night trip. I don't know how often they go but it sounded like once a month at least.

My next door neighbor caught me this morning to tell me her friends husband passed away Monday and they are taking him home to Oregon as soon as they are done with the cremation so she wanted me to watch her house. She is from Turner and her friend who lost her husband is from K Falls. So sad and so unexpected I guess.  I offered to drive her home for it but she said they are fine, she used to drive truck and doesn't have any trouble driving. Just makes you sad when someone has been together so long. I remember how hard it was on mom. The lady is lucky in the fact that my neighbor knows how it feels cause she lost her husband of 53 years too. Prayers for them

Well time to go eat some breakfast and get my day started. A little overcast today but nice out.
