I woke up this morning to bright sunshine and stories on facebook about snow in my home town. The snow looks so much better when I am sitting here in the sunshine looking at the photos thinking, snow is so pretty.
I am so glad I am not doing chores. I am not pre-tripping my school bus. I mean by the time you get your pre-trip done, checking oil, checking belts, checking tires etc. etc. your fingers will hardly move. A school bus is nothing but metal and glass and that diesel engine takes forever and a day to warm up and put some heat out. The heaters are a lot better then when I was a child but it takes a long time to warm up. My kids were lucky as I drove for at least 20 minutes before any of them got on.
Last winter my heaters kept quitting and we like to froze but it was quicker for me to drive to the school at Warm Springs then for them to bring me a bus from Madras. I am so going to enjoy not being froze every morning. I am also going to enjoy not having to drive all those hills on slick roads but I do worry about my kids. I am glad Bob is driving them because he drives good in the snow.
Going to get off here and go clean up the RV for the day, take some pictures of some more stuff for Ebay and read, and mess around and maybe even go for a bike ride. Decisions, decisions, how nice is it to spend half the morning figuring out what you want to do, no schedules to follow. Kids are all gone to an auction today.
