I was looking for pictures of my dad to send to a singer friend of mine to hopefully put on her new video when I found those pictures of my dad. I alternated between sad and happy all night thinking of memories and missing him terribly.
It was a really lazy day yesterday. I can’t believe how long we sleep, we go to bed around 9 sometimes 10 and don’t get up until 6 or 8. Feels good, no pressure, no worrying about “if I don’t get to sleep soon I will be so crabby at work” Sleep when you want, get up when you want. Now if I could eat what I want and not put on weight it would be perfect…lol I am still losing weight but not as fast as I would like. Makes a difference when you are not sitting in a bus for 7 hours a day and have the time to fix healthy dinners instead of what you can grab.
Today is not a cloud in the sky. We are headed into the big town of Casa Grande again to get moms prescription. They called late yesterday afternoon and said it was done. Got to get food for Thanksgiving and I need to start packing up everything we have all over Bill’s yards and put them away to return to Quartzsite, lawn chairs, tables, dog fence etc.
This has been one of the most restful times of my life. Bill spoils us totally rotten and has made us feel like family. He even says he doesn’t want us to leave, we can stay all winter. The neighbor is great. Great speedy wireless internet, electric hookup, use of a house, fenced yard. You couldn’t ask for more if you paid for it. So nice to have made another life long friend.
